Mohammed Adel Chowdhury
Mohammed has 6 years’ experience in the private, public and 3rd sectors building a strong portfolio of skills which he uses to support charities, community organisations and ethically-minded businesses grow and reach new heights.
Growing up in Bristol, Mohammed became the first chair of a user-led BAME-focused youth organisation. This, under his stewardship became the largest of its kind in the country. Thereafter he went on to work with the local council advising on promoting youth engagement from those in typically disadvantaged backgrounds.
After some time in the fundraising sector, he later moved on to work at one of the world’s largest multinational companies, whilst continuing his 3rd sector involvement with educational and faith-based institutes in London.
Since then, Mohammed has worked with a number of UK charities and SME’s involving services such as directing fundraising strategy, project delivery, event management and marketing.
Identifying the huge skills-gap between the private and 3rd sectors, he felt determined to work towards bridging the gap and develop not-for-profits around the UK, and so 3rd Sector Consulting was formed.
